A New Model for Predicting the Creep-Fatigue Life under Stepped-Isothermal Fatigue Loading

This paper proposes an isothermal fatigue life prediction model to predict the of creep-fatigue damage interaction. The is caused by high-frequency mechanical loads and low-frequency temperature loads, i.e. stepped-isothermal loads. based on continuum mechanics (CDM), in which interaction between creep considered nonlinear. To verify proposed model, cast aluminum alloy subjected tests at 200–350°C. results show that predicted can reach a good consistency with experimental data.
